BBQ at Glen and Kates

had a great BBQ at Glen and Kates today, helped break in the brand new BBQ! (helped get it dirty, and then left...) Ella had a great time playing with all Tom and Joe's toys, and as a special treat Ella got IceCream! but why do they make it so cold!!! Ella kept shovelling it in, but then grabbing her mouth as it must have been making her teeth hurt!!! Ice cream headaches all round...

Weekend fun with the Beamish's

Saturday morning sleepin with Finn and teddy's... Don't tell Mummy, but Daddy took me to McDonalds and I had a burger all of my own, and fries and was then super charged for an hour of fun in the playground!!!!!!!
Nat and Sophie were having a ball too.
Everyone was supercharged, in more ways than one, look closely at Sophie's hair, all up on end with the static charge from the warm plastic slide... shocks all round!!!
Ella had a ball on the slide too...

Then we went fishing at the Napier pier. Well Finn went fishing (with a support crew of at least 5.) The girls just hung out in the porta cot, and threw bread to the sparrows. No fish caught this time but Finn got his cast down pretty good, and could cast just about half way across to the inlet! (no eyes or fingers missing at the end of the day either which was good.)

Weekend in Taupo

Have just come home from a great weekend break in Taupo, to catch up with Chris and Ness. The weather was not all that crash hot for skiing so we opted for a bush walk instead, and a bit of mountain biking. Saturday afternoon walking in the bush was much more pleasant than being out in the very strong wind... and was followed with a nice swim in the hot pools at Tokaanu.

Cool man, Chris brought along her long board, and all 3 of us can fit on for a ride at the same time!

And then when we got home, it was so hot, someone needed to cool off in her own private spa pool…

I was such a good girl at the hair dresser the other day, that she even did this fancy thing to my hair after she had cut it.

Grandma and Poppa's visit

Grandma and Poppa came and stayed for the weekend, taking Ella here there and everywhere. (or was that Ella took Grandma and Poppa...)

sleepover, and Aston

Don’t know who was more excited about the weekend, Ella or Grandma, or maybe it was puppy Aston, but anyway Ella had a great time on holiday with Grandma for the weekend. Her first weekend sleepover!
I went to Wellington for the weekend and Ang had some work to do on Saturday, so I dropped Ella off at Grandmas on Friday, and she stayed the weekend with Grandma and Poppa.
Ella wasn’t to sure of Uncle Cole and Aunty Tania’s new puppy ‘Aston’ but did have a little pat, and lots of pointing and Woo woo-ing…

it all started because one of Ella's friends has a broken arm and I assume the face painting was a nice quiet inside game to play with your arm in a sling... anyway all her friends, Ella included, then had to have their faces painted so they could all be happy little clowns together...

guess who we bumped into down the street

Hilary and Doug just happened to be cycling up our street yesterday, and Ella and I were off on our bike about to go for a ride, when we crossed paths... Ella was excited to see a Dog getting a ride on the bike just like she was getting a ride on Daddys bike. When we rode up for a closer look we discovered that it was 'Monty' the dog with Doug and Hilary, doing some sight seeing by bike in the Hawkes bay. So we all flagged riding and stopped for coffee!
